I was sent the silk cream lipstick in Taffy and the matte finish eye shadow in Alabaster from MAKE. I hadn't tried any cosmetics from MAKE before, but had heard really awesome things. They have a fantastic selection of lip, eye, and face products.

The first thing I did after opening the package from MAKE was swatch the lipstick and eye shadow on my arm. I was thrilled when I saw the Taffy lipstick swatched because it's a color I know I'll wear on a regular basis. I was a little bummed with the eye shadow though, mainly because it was the exact same color as my skin. The texture of the shadow was great and I challenged myself to make it work.

After a little playing around, I found the perfect use for this eye shadow for me. I've been using it for the inner corners of my eyes and to line the inner half of my lower lash line. I use a definer brush and noticed that this color is PERFECT for making your eyes look bigger and brighter. I used the Lovatics by Demi eye shadow palette on the rest of my lid/crease and it blended beautifully with the MAKE eye shadow.

These products work extremely well for their price ($25/piece) and are highly recommended. After browsing their site, I've decided that I will be purchasing the matte lipsticks in Tulipa & Scarlet and the silk cream lipstick in Deep Flesh. I've been debating another matte eye shadow possibly in Kalahari or Burnt Umber.
